SQL Server on Core Banking Applications

A seminar on " SQL Server on Core Banking Applications" co-sponsored by Microsoft and Southtech- a leading software house in Bangladesh was recently held in a local hotel. The speakers in the seminar reiterated the need to use computer based electronic data transaction system in all financial houses and banks to increase efficiency of banking and to ensure better customer services.

The chief guest Professor Jamilur Reza Chowdhury , an eminent personality in ICT industry and other distinguished speakers opined that Microsoft SQL sever 2005 could be the right option for such integration as it is the next generation database management and analysis software that will deliver increased expandability, availability and security. The seminar was largely attended by CIO of all leading banks and financial services companies.
