Step 1: Complete the ISV Profile

The Microsoft ISV Buddy Program is all about connecting Independent Software Vendor (ISV), with a Microsoft employee who will be your point person within Microsoft. It's about putting a face to Microsoft who will help you get timely answers to your questions and requests, guide you to resources and to help you succeed in building solutions on Microsoft platforms.

To get started, complete the ISV profile form and you will be matched with a Microsoft employee based on the following categories: role, product expertise, tool & technologies and language spoken.


Step 2: Accelerate your success

Microsoft Empower for ISVs assist ISVs to become Microsoft Certified Partners, in developing commercially viable software product based on Microsoft technologies over a 12-month period.

Microsoft Technical Enablement for ISVs provides the tools, software, content and support ISVs need to begin developing applications on emerging Microsoft platforms and technologies. There is no cost to participate.

The Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Royalty Licensing program is designed for ISVs that incorporate Microsoft technology into their value-added software business solutions for commercial distribution to their customers. It is appropriate for ISVs selling to large, small, or mid-market customers.

Participation in the Empower Program, Technical Enablement and Royalty Licensing programs include enrollment in the Microsoft Partner Program. Become a Registered Member for free in 15 minutes.
