Special Deliveries

Worldwide Operations ensures that the technology developed at Microsoft can be manufactured and delivered to our customers. This division controls the manufacturing, licensing, and packaging of Microsoft products, as well as the supply chain that moves these items into the marketplace. Working closely with the technical, sales, and marketing groups, Worldwide Operations coordinates product launches, transactions, and vendor relations. Without Worldwide Operations, Microsoft products would never make it onto store shelves.

Worldwide Operations conducts its business through four regional operating centers: North America (U.S. and Canada), Latin America (Mexico, Central and South America), EMEA (covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa), and Asia Pacific (India, Southeast Asia, the Far East, and the South Pacific).
