Development

As a Windows International developer, you will have the opportunity to work with both managed and native code – at different system levels that range from low-level kernel-mode libraries to new and exciting UI using the latest Microsoft technologies. You will gain a deeper and broader understanding of Windows and CLR. You will be involved in the design of international features across Windows. You will also work with product teams and partners across Microsoft and around the world. Testing

As a Windows International SDET (Software Design Engineer in Test), you can help this dynamic team to deliver high-quality, world-ready infrastructure features, important globalization tools, quality localization platform products, and be part of assuring the highest quality results for all international Windows and .NET components. Joining our team means that you will develop a deeper and broader understanding of Windows, have a direct impact on the quality of features across Windows, and work with product teams and partners across Microsoft and around the world. Our long-term goal is that all code written at Microsoft is world-ready so we can automate and test multiple languages at the same time (instead of the less efficient and more costly method of writing code and translating it). Program Management

As a Windows International program manager, you will have the opportunity to participate in key strategic projects that directly impact Microsoft’s global vision – including Windows market customization, MUI, Windows XP Starter Edition, fonts and font technologies, ELK, Windows Date/Time control panel, Localization Studio, UX tools, and many more. You will gain deep international experience with feature and product groups across Microsoft and around the world. Windows Localization

Windows reaches our customers around the world in 100+ languages and you can be part of the team that makes this happen! As a member of the Windows International Localization team, you will gain deep international experience with feature and product groups across Microsoft and around the world. You will participate in key strategic projects that directly impact Microsoft’s global strategy. Our focus areas include Windows Online, international project engineering, project management, and vendor management, as well as tools and infrastructure development. International Subsidiary PMs

As a Windows International SPM (subsidiary program manager), you will be responsible for helping us understand international customer needs and dreams, and then working to translate that knowledge into the worldwide Windows experience. Windows International

The Windows International Group consists of more than twenty coordinated software development, typography, and localization teams located in Redmond, Dublin, East Asia, and other subsidiaries around the world. We create fonts, Language Interface Packs, globalization APIs, and the MUI (Multilingual user Interface) -- all of which facilitate the world-readiness of our products.
